If I were to add one per day it would take more than fifty years ... :)
How are things going with you and caring for your father? I know since this is the internet you can't go into specific detail. But I did pray for you one day. My own mother had Alzheimer's for about 8 years during the nineties, till she finally passed away. So, I know in small part what you're going through, and that it can be excruciatingly difficult :(
Thanks for your compassion joosep. Dad is quite independent really, and despite being a raging atheist, he's been coming to church with me for the past year now. Mostly because he likes people and he doesn't want to be on his own while I'm out (church is an hour's) drive.) But Zachias was only engaging in a spectator sport when the Lord found him. So perhaps the Lord will pass by one day and call my Dad to him too.
Thank you for sharing. My own father was 97 when he died. Unfortunately, I wasn't with him during the months before his passing, so I can't say whether he ever answered God's call. But I will pray for your Dad that he will allow the Holy Spirit to soften his heart.
