What is there a pattern in these verses or sets of verses that you've created? I ask because you number the sets like there is a pattern, but I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out what it is.
OK, this may sound odd but this is the system that I use. I had gone through the Bible and written down on index cards all the verses that I wanted to memorize. Then I separated the cards into sets of 10 or 12 verses, and put those sets in a shoebox. And then I would take out each set which is a mixture of all the New Testament, and add that to learn scripture. So the numbering just goes in consecutive order. It started originally with the sets of verses from the book memorize the word. In the book, a person would memorize three or four sets of verses every week and each lesson was a two week lesson so the first set of verses was 1.0, and the second set was 1.5 etc. I hope this explains my unique system.
I knew there had to be a story there. Thanks for sharing yours with me. I can't imagine how long that took, writing down every verse that's good in the Bible! Also, I'm impressed you can keep track of them all. I tried learning individual verses, but I found that they just wouldn't stick unless I memorized the context in a chunk together.
