That's a wonderful passage, PeterP. I look forward to the day when I can work on it too :) But, since I've resolved to go through Luke in order, that day won't come, for me, for some time :) At the moment my "new" Luke passages are in chapter 13.

I’m sure it won’t be too long until you get to chapter 24, Joosep. I decided to spend time with it now because it’s come through strongly in two books I’ve just read, and then this same passage was the basis for the sermon at church on Sunday. It’s a powerful story to reflect on.

I agree with you. I can at least read it again, and I'll be sure to do that. As to reviewing it here on LSN, I suppose I'll get to ch. 24 early next year, but then I'll also have the whole of Luke prior to that to work on. Unless Jesus returns first.
