Congratulations on mastering 1000 verses!

I’ve just been reviewing Luke 7 too. I like the understated drama in Luke’s simple sentences: ‘He reached out and touched the bier. And the bearers stood still.’ You can feel the dramatic pause, everyone hushed by this unexpected action. (Because no one else would touch a dead body.) And then he said, so simply, but so powerfully, ‘Young man, I say to you, arise.’ Wow!!!

Congratulations! You seem to have established a good pace for yourself. God bless you as you learn.

So on this thread, we’re congratulating you for reaching 5000 verses started, but across the two accounts you’ve really achieved quite a lot more than that!
