I looked up this Psalm. Two verses which got my attention were verses 3 and 4. If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with You, that You may be feared. (NKJV)

Yes, it’s a cry ‘out of the depths’, but it’s a cry of faith and hope.
