Topical Memory System: Proclaiming Christ
The Topical Memory System (TMS) was developed by The Navigators as a simple, easy-to-use system to help believers memorize key verses that point to basic truths and important instruction. If you want to memorize Scripture but aren't sure what to memorize or how, this system is the perfect launching point to begin hiding God's Word in your heart. (See http://www.navigators.org/Tools )

A Slice of Humble Pie.
Humility is a quality which is often spoken about, but it is also one of the most misunderstood and misapplied... Some think of humility as being a weakness and others pretend to have it when they not humble at all, but nevertheless The Bible tells us humility is important; it is one of the qualities of a Biblical leader. According to scripture, God hates the proud; which is the humble person's antagonist. The Bible also says that God won't listen to us or be likely to help us if we refuse to humble ourselves before him, because the practice of humility is a sign of respect and honor. We ought to be humble before our God whether we're in trouble or in prosperity! And finally, if we live our life with humility before God and our fellow man, we will be far less likely to get into trouble.

Choose a verse (or a few verses). For long passages, you should create a 'passage' verse set.
Selection set
Selection verse sets are verses on a certain topic, or designed for a group of people to learn together.
Passage set
Passage verse sets are for a continuous set of verses, like a Psalm or a chapter or part of a chapter.
When you are learning a passage set, you're always presented with the verses in order, and there are lots of tweaks to help you learn it as a passage rather than just a set of verses.
Catechisms are a question/answer method of learning Bible truth. While we don't think they are on a level with the Bible itself, they can be a very useful way of learning the truths the Bible teaches in a systematic way, and they fit well into the system LearnScripture uses for learning verses.
