I would suggest trying to do your verses around a certain time, so that it will stay on your streak.

@FinalAsgard - a "day" is based on time from midnight to midnight in London, England - if you don´t take the time change into account you may find yourself losing a streak. For example if you learn a verse in the US on Friday morning, and your next verse late in the evening on Saturday, you will have missed a day because Saturday evening in the US is actually already Sunday morning in England. Maybe that will help?

There is a bug somewhere that prevents my streak from being continued after learning a verse. I just learned a new verse, and it still says my streak is 0 days. This happens randomly and when it does I have to learn a second verse for the streak to work (and once I had to learn 3 verses...). Sometimes I can't learn more than one in a day...

KC49425 2019-04-23 21:23

It is the reverse. I am learning Ephesians 2:8-9 and it is just Ephesians 2:8

Very good guys!

FinalAsgard 2019-04-21 00:37

Ah, because it groups those verses together in the set. You will see that the set has 8 "verses" and some of those verses are actually multiple verses, so maybe they should be labeled passages instead? I'd be interested in seeing if you start learning Ephesians 2:9 separate from the verse set (as a stand alone verse) if the verse set would then recognize that? But technically it's right. Since you have learned v8 and not v9, you haven't started learning the full verse for that set, which is v8-9.

KC49425 2019-04-21 00:34

as you can see, there is Genesis 1:1 and Ephesians 2:8, but Ephesians 2:8 does not count as a verse that I am learning.

KC49425 2019-04-21 00:32

I have these verses (plus others) that make me question this. Ephesians 2:8-9 and Genesis 1:1

KC49425 2019-04-21 00:30

it should say that I am learning 2 verses instead of 1.

FinalAsgard 2019-04-21 00:23

Trying to put all the pieces together. :D So, in https://learnscripture.net/verse-set/bible-101/?version=ESV you see it say "you've started learning 1 out of 8..." But, you're saying that it should say something else? Not sure what else it should say, but whatever that says shouldn't have much of an effect on your memorization experience on the site. Or am I missing another piece of the puzzle here? :D

KC49425 2019-04-20 22:50

This problem is in Bible 101, and I have Ephesians 2:8-9 and Genesis 1:1. It is saying, "You've started learning 1 out of 8 verses in this set in version ESV." This should not be happening.

KC49425 2019-04-20 22:47

ok

LSNews 2019-04-20 22:16

That would be correct.

FinalAsgard 2019-04-20 20:38

I think we need more details about the issue you're having.

KC49425 2019-04-20 18:59

but that was in a selection set of verses.

KC49425 2019-04-20 18:58

it did but it said that I only had one verse, BUT, that was a completely different verse...

LSNews 2019-04-20 00:31

I haven't the slightest idea! Sorry!

FinalAsgard 2019-04-20 00:30

What do you mean that it "didn't count as a verse"? Does it not show up in your Verse Progress section?

LSNews 2019-04-20 00:22

?

KC49425 2019-04-19 23:52

But I am learning a set of two verses, but I looked at a verse set and since it was not the full two verses, it didn't count as a verse.

So... what does that mean?

FinalAsgard 2019-04-19 14:59

Verses in verse sets do count as a verse you are learning after you have started learning that verse.

KC49425 2019-04-19 14:18

and also, if you look at a verse set and, for instance, you have Genesis 1 1-2 and there is just Genesis 1 1, shouldn't that count as a verse that you are learning?

KC49425 2019-04-16 01:07

Maybe there could be a button allowing you to go to your verses that need to be reviewed from anywhere, like here, for instance.

On the bottom of the "Learning Events" display in the dashboard this is written, "The calendar and streaks work in the UTC/GMT timezone" I suggest saying it as, "The calendar and streaks are shown in the UTC/GMT timezone"
