Mercy, it is so hard to get back into the groove when you've lost a couple of weeks, isn't it? I'm not even sure what happened during those two weeks...probably watching too much football, but getting back into the routine has been quite the challenge! Perhaps a bit of spiritual warfare going on over here! I just wanted to say thanks to all of you who keep on keeping on. It is inspirational and helpful!!

I´m familiar with the story of Daniel in the lion´s den - except the last verse, where all the leaders who accused Daniel along with their wives and kids are thrown to the lions, who immediately overpower them and break all their bones before they even reach the bottom of the den. Funny which bits Sunday school stories tend to filter out... I´ve never been fully comfortable with the story of Noah in Sunday school either...

I’m slowly slowly slowly working through Revelation. Chapter 4 just now. Still adding bits of Johns gospel too. I’m concentrating on getting verses to 100% so that my review pile is cleared easily each day.

What are all of you studying these days? After lots of New Testament last year, I´m working on Daniel now, and plan on doing a few more chapters before switching to something else. How about the rest of you?

I like Daniel 4:4 - "I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at ease in my house and prospering in my palace." Then he had a dream and had to call in Daniel, who he knew was a man "in whom was the spirit of the holy gods". God can come to anyone at any time, even to those who are not actively searching for God.
