thank you :) if anyone else has a different recommendation, I'd be glad to hear it. I'm feeling now that I really need to go to a deeper level of calling on God and trusting in God ... some difficult times now (as we are all experiencing to one level or another)

Psalm 46 or 91.

I am going to be ready to start learning some new verses in a few days. It seemed right to me to pose the question in this group, what is a good Psalm for calling on God when you are in distress? And relying only on Him, and not on your own strength? I decided I'll learn the Psalm that is recommended. If there's more than one I'll choose one of the ones offered. Thanks in advance.

Yes, indeed as verse 8 says ... He will instruct us and teach us in the way we should go. He will counsel us with His eye upon us :)

Hi Joosep, Psalm 32 verses 8 and 9 leaped out at me the other day, so your comment is rather interesting! I have been reading through the Psalms and have being greatly blessed and instructed by them of late.

One of my favorites is Psalm 32. Especially because of Verse 8, and also because of how Paul refers to this Psalm in Romans 4.

Decided to learn some PSALMS any advice?
