Hi Onfire, those memorisation techniques you mention can work. However, in a nutshell I would discourage people from attaching an absurd or disgusting visual to a Bible verse because it might cause one to sin - especially an immature Christian if they allow their imagination free rein with no bounds. No offence. Just a thought :)

Just want to say hello, and praise God that you are continuing to steadily move forward in your studies here :) ...and adding verses that have reached the fully learnt status. 1,587 at last count :)

Thanks, yes there is a change I have made after being on this site for 5 years and being overwhelmed daily with long Review lists in which you need to practice all your verses for the sake of the one or two verses that may be due for review.

I now add sections (chapters) of the Bible and purposely keep them in the "Learn" section by not starting on the final verses until most of the verses are learned and finished. That way, only the verses that need practising come up for review - usually just a couple. Also, I have changed over to first letter typing. Hope this helps someone!
