Yes, it's important to go through all of Romans, step by step (especially 1-8, but the rest of the chapters are important too). It takes a lot of time, but is well worth the effort.
Yup I started with Random verses but find chapters much better to give context. Haven't yet completed a whole book but aiming there. But that gives good context too.
I started like you learning ‘random’ verses using verse sets that people have created here. But now I prefer to tackle a chapter at a time, because I find that gives better context and structure.
Oh! Thank you, I'll bear that in mind for another time, I stopped learning all the ones on my other account so I might as well just use this one because I can't remember the ones I did before. I think me hopping around different books and learning 'random' verses was confusing me a lot. Would you happen to have a structure for learning verses that might help?
Martha, you can ‘reset’ any verse by clicking on the three-dot menu when you’re looking at an individual verse. The other option ‘stop learning’ keeps your %progress for that verse, but stops it reappearing in the review queue.
I'm from the UK, thanks for the welcome. I've actually just made myself a new account so I can properly restart the verses I was previously learning because I couldn't work out how to do that otherwise, my old account was CarterM.
