I want to take a moment to thank all of you for your encouragement, for your dedication, and your leadership. I lost my dad last week, and I don't know how I would have dealt with it if I hadn't been committed to being in the Word daily and to this memorization. This website does so many clever and different things to keep us striving to do better...whether it's coloring in the calendars, or gaining badges, etc, but it works, and you all help it work better by leading the way and encouraging the rest of us. Your dedication helps me stay dedicated. And of course His Word and Spirit does the rest of the work in us!!! So thank you, all of you!!

How often do you manage to clear your review list? In order to keep on top of it, I’ve slowed down my rate of adding new verses, but after reviewing this morning, I got this message: “Nothing in your general queue needs reviewing at this point in time.
Next item due for review: Psalm 34:2 in 3 days, 20 hours.”
Wow! Nearly 4 days! What am I going to do with myself?

I´ve given up and have learned to live happily with a great long list of verses and chapters that are due for review. I learn all my verses as part of a whole chapter though, so it´s a question of reviewing chapters and not individual verse selections. I work away on the chapter that I´m learning and after that I have no structure whatsoever and if I want to review more, I choose whichever chapter I feel like at the time. Forget trying to herd the cats, just enjoy yourself chasing them!

Mine just got more manageable too, but half of that is from completing a few of them and the other part is not adding to many at once. I try to review my individual verses first, then my passages. I aim to complete a full chapter at once but done are really long so I do a bit then I come back and do a bit more later, working through the whole chapter before might on to other verses. I also work on them at random times like before work, on breaks, then just a little more before bed. I don't have long periods of time to work on it but bit by bit keeps my mind in the Bible
through the whole day.

I feel as you do, Peter. I try as often as possible to review a chapter in its entirety.

Herding cats! Very good description. I don’t have a system, except to consider how much time I have available, because I don’t like having to break off in the middle of a chapter/section.

I keep a list of the chapters I'm learning on a Google Sheet. Then I check them off as I go along to make sure that they all get equal attention. I also reset all my verses a while ago (not trying to recommend that, it was just my own personal thing I felt I needed to do).

I love that - herding cats!! Mine is more manageable now so not such a problem. When I was adding a new verse every day though it did get out of hand. I just tried to do the same number of verses a day then stop. I concentrate on the passages which are newest to me as I need most practice on those. I’m sure someone has thought of a proper system that works but I haven’t found it yet. I’m just glad to be back to a manageable review list. Interested to hear comments from others.

May I ask how y'all tackle your review queue's? I feel like trying to keep mine manageable is like herding cats. Do you start at the top each time and get as far as you can get? Or do you have some other order to it? Thanks for your advice!

It looks like a problem only with Safari, I know why it happens. It was a change I made that simplified things and required fewer graphics, while also making the bar more accurate, but it doesn't work on most versions of Safari, so I'll need to re-think it.

Yes I’m using an iPad also so that figures. I wonder if Luke can fix it?

Yes, I see the same problem, JD, but only on my iPad. On my Android phone it is fine. So I think it must be an incompatibility with Safari.
