Thanks Joosep. Yes it's been wonderful going through the book. Yes agreed, there is something special about their relationship ... and John certainly knew he was loved by Jesus.
Nice job to get to 15 million! I imagine that you are greatly blessed going through the Gospel of John. It's fascinating how his style is so distinct from that of the other Gospels. Perhaps it was because he was "the disciple whom Jesus loved". A greater intimacy with the Lord produced a different style ... ? Of course Jesus loved all the disciples, but there was something special about His relationship with John.

That sounds like a breathtaking view Robinshe! It's amazing to think that the creation we see is the fallen creation, and I often wonder, what did it look like before the fall?! It's incredible to think that one day, even the earth itself will be restored.
Thanks again Joosep. I usually paint Australian landscapes from my imagination, but I wanted to do something different for this library exhibition. Since my son had taken many excellent photos of scarlet robins, I thought I would give them a go!
Hi Joosep. Thanks, I have about 12 or so paintings ready, and about 7 drawings finished. I'm aiming for about 20 paintings for the exhibition, all scarlet robins, but I will be able to get away with adding robins to a few landscapes that were already near completion! The work will be on display in a public library for 3 weeks. Estonia sounds lovely. It must be rather picturesque.
Hello Annette. How is your painting coming along? Here in Estonia we have a light snow falling, and a lot of snow from previous snowfalls on the ground ...

Yes, Estonia is quite lovely. I'm sure all of us here join in praying that your exhibition will be a success and a blessing to people there where you live. It seems that scarlet robins are your "motif", if I may say it that way? How did that come to be, if I may ask. Have a nice day.

Yesterday I looked out of the window at the start of a difficult day at work and saw every branch of every tree covered with about an inch of sparkling frost, and the sun was just rising over the fjord and the whole sky was cotton candy pink, and with a temperature of -10C, there was a thick blanket of mist covering the water, and I thought to myself: the guy who made all this - he´s on my side :-)

Thankyou joosep and Robinshe. Yes, there is something so wonderful about meditating on Scripture, unlike anything else. I still hope to keep it up during this busy time, but maybe not quite so many verses per day.
You have overtaken me on the leaderboard Robinshe! Well done. I may be doing less for a while at least, as I have an art exhibition coming up in March and need a lot of new work. Funnily enough, the series is on Australia's Scarlet Robins! So, now over to you, and joosep and others :)
I don't think you'll regret it Robinshe. And joosep, yes you are right about the language and actually, I did notice one verse in particular that sounded rather poetic, that is, Hebrews 6:19.
Wow, 30 million! Well done! That shows dedication and long time commitment. Hopefully we will all make it to that figure and beyond as we continue to learn and grow in God's Word. Happy New Year to all and greetings from Perth, Australia.
Hebrews is a letter that (someday!) I'd like to memorize. I've recently been working on Hebrews 6:1-10, and it's really spoken to me in a variety of ways.
