That’s so encouraging to read all of this conversation and see you all learning so much of the Bible. I’ve got two accounts although I only use this one now. I suspect I’ve started but not finished about 3000 verses. Mostly New Testament. I’m going through book of John for second time. It just lifts me do much. Well done On getting half of NT learnt. Stay blessed 💕
Happy New Year to all. May the Lord bless you as you learn scripture. May it increase our knowledge of God and bring us closer to Him and increase our desire to serve Him Thank you Joosep for pointing out that people need adding. I need to sign on with a different device under my old account JDJDJD and I’ll add you both. If anyone else needs adding let me know.
Good evening. I’m at 34. Or I will be after I’ve added my verse in a few moments. The period before Christmas is always my riskiest time. I try to add my verse in the morning. If it gets left to the end of the day it’s often after midnight when I get to my verses. So I’m pleased to be at 34 and not back at zero. Enjoying it all. I’m in John 10 just now. One of my favourites. I love the theme of the Lord as The Good Shepherd. Hope you have a blessed Christmas Period and New Year.
By the way, congratulations on the 5 million points! I realize of course points are not the most important thing, but they do represent time spent in God's Word :)
Good morning! Today I'm at 131, having just added one new verse.
Here's a verse which is very meaningful to me:
I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, Because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul, 8 And You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place. Psalm 31:7-8 (NAS)
Has anyone else had a problem with the site today. I get an error when I select "Choose" from the dashboard. I am trying to add a new passage, but I get a 404 error.
Oh no. That’s tough. If you can remember which it is and add it again the streak will come back. But it sounds like you’ve tried that. I’m at peace about my broken streak too. If I get to my 3 years, I worry that I will stop adding a verse a day. And I benefit so much from that. I was thanking the Lord a day or two ago that I’m back at the beginning and have 3 years (or longer!) ahead of me of adding a verse a day and being blessed by it.
Well done Joosep. I’m at 13. It seems like a long journey ahead. But I love adding a verse a day. So it’s not a chore at all. Thanks for your checking in on me.
Hello JDJD! I just need to tell you that unfortunately, my streak got broken. I was cancelling some of the individual verses without realizing that I cancelled one which was a part of the streak. And then I couldn't remember exactly which verse it was.
So now I am at 107.
I'm at peace about it, God's Word is still God's Word.

thanks for your encouragment, and I agree with you. Part of the problem, I think, was that I was learning an individual version in a Bible version which I don't usually use. So not only am I not sure about the verse, I'm also not sure about the version. I tried to "re-add" it for ten minutes ago, but then felt like it was ok to just accept it.
I'll check in with you again in a couple of weeks or so, and until then, the Lord's blessings upon you.
I’m at 1,066 day streak…with a new verse a day…and like you JDJD am being blessed…I also did the book of Colossians…what a blessing when you really understand what the New Testament is really saying…it’s true “every blessing in heavenly places, in Christ”
It’s great to read all your comments, and hear how much you’re enjoying the process, irrespective of broken streaks. The blessing is in spending time with the Word of God, much more than badges or stats. May God bless you richly today, and every day!
Amen. What do we have that we have not received? I appreciate everyone’s encouragement. It is exciting to see the body of Christ in action….one with this grace …another with something different…but all lifting up Christ Jesus the Lord. Amen

thank you for the warm greeting. Yes, I too love John chapter ten. Verses 27 to 30 is a wonderful series of four verses and provide great comfort. In my opinion they also testify of the deity of Christ. He says that no one can snatch them out of My hand, and then adds that no one can snatch them out of the Father's hand. He thus makes Himself equal with God. God has given Him all authority (Matthew 28). In any case, we should meditate on that comfort (or at least I know I should) that no one can snatch me or take me out of the Father's hand. Merry Christmas as well to you and yours!
And I’ve only just seen it too. Huge congratulations. It is so hard to get so far without ever missing a day. And yes it’s so good to be memorising scripture so it is available as a shield to fight the good fight of faith. Stay blessed. 🎉

Hi Joosep. My streak is at 420. I’m very thankful it’s still intact as I’ve had a couple of close calls. I’m more likely to miss the daily deadline in the winter months as after the clocks change (uk) I have to have my verse done an hour earlier. And yet I tend to do it last thing at night. I love going to bed with my mind full of scripture. So I’m nervous about getting through these winter months until the clocks change again in the spring. Thanks for the check-in
