I have the same goal of reaching 3 years. It’s a tough ask from experience. I previously got to 9 months 3 times before missing a day. Then got to 2years and 10 months!!! So yes. We will encourage each other along and hopefully arrive with 11 days of each other.

To JDJD : it will be helpful to me personally, if I at various points along the way ask you, are you now at 275? (or whatever number) I can always look at my own streak and subtract 11. That's something where we might be mutually encouraging.
To FinalAsgard, the longest streak I've ever had here was nine months. I've tried quite a few times to extend it beyond nine months, but to no avail. If you want to start a streak too, I could also try to encourage you that way, and also you me :) Just a suggestion.
God bless you both with your 3-year project! I got to over 18 months, when I inadvertently missed a day. I was sad at the time, but with hindsight I’m glad that missing that one day freed me from the problem of an ever-growing review list!
Yes, I entirely understand. It's happened to me several times just past nine months. I dealt with my ever-growing review list by using a spreadsheet -- so I don't look at the review list anymore, the links are contained in my Google Sheet. And I reset many of my verses. However, I know that those solutions are not amenable to everyone :)
I go back and forth about the streaks, how important is it to me? It's fun, and awesome, but, for instance, when I finished Philippians, I just wanted a break. Adding a new verse every day is so hard! Especially when life gets in the way. But... I at least want that 90 day badge :p
I do understand what you are saying, FinalAsgard, but if you decide you want the 90 day badge, let me know and I'll create a reminder to remind you as well. I can handle two reminders and it will also help me to keep going.
I'm at 212 now. You're right, it has to do with the time difference, what time of day we log on, etc. In any case I'll check with you in a little over 2 weeks. Doing this motivates me to keep my own streak going, and adding one new verse each day motivates me to explore new areas (new to me) of God's Word. Until then, blessings to you.
Fantastic Joosep. Congrats on your 6 months. I must have missed that. It’s harder than it seems to keep adding a verse each day. Well done and I hope you are being blessed. I know you will be. You certainly bless me. Hopefully I’ll get my 9 months about two weeks after you.
A hearty congratulations! that's six months. May the Lord bless you for your persistence. I'm currently aiming for Level 6, nine months, and God willing I will be there in about 77 days.

thank you, your words are encouraging to me. Actually I got the 6 months badge a long time ago, maybe back in 2015, and I've never managed to improve it. May your scripture memorization be blessed by a growing closeness to the Lord.
I've created several over the years. But I'm trying to simplify this process. So, I use Ebed-Melech for individual verses and joosep for passages. Ebed-Melech was an Ethiopian who rescued Jeremiah when he had been thrown into a cistern (Jeremiah 38)
