You mean it will take the whole passage down, and not just the verse. Sounds like a tool you don't want to use unless it's going to be perfect when you use it.
I thought about using it for sets or verses you hardly see because they are around 70%. But then I was thinking that if I did that, and made errors, it may make it that much harder for that set or verse to ever get to 100%
The fact the question was posed, and that you still have that desire for that deeper meaning tells me that the Holy Spirit is still striving with you. The fact that there's a struggle or even discouragement, tells me the enemy sees what's going on, and he's trying to force a disconnect.
One thing I've learned regarding the Bible lately is that it will speak for itself if you allow it, going line upon line, and precept upon precept. You have this one book, yet different groups around the globe believing different things shows the impact of man's interpretation. But if you allow it speak for itself, it can blow you away.
Jeremiah 29:13 simply says if we search for God with all our hearts, with everything we have, we WILL find Him. The enemy wants to stop this. But it's not his choice, it's ours. He can't have my choice.
So I'd just like to encourage you to press on. When we make the right choice, we'll end up with fruits of the Spirit. We're all in this together. 😀
Interestingly, after I read the verses in Jeremiah 17:5-9, I happened to be working on Isaiah 1:4. Both Is 1:4 and Jeremiah 17:5, in both of those the Lord refers to the sin of turning away from the Lord in one's heart. People may have the appearance of being religious, but what is the condition of my heart? Do I turn away from Him, or have I turned away from Him? In my opinion, it is very important to frequently pray and examine ourselves in this way. Am I just "going through the motions"? Or do I love the Lord with all my heart?
