Description

These are a set of verses designed to remind us of God's love and concern. If you struggle with anxiety and fear these are God's own words to heal.

Verses

  • Isaiah 41:10: Don't be afraid, for I am with you! Don't be frightened, for I am your God! I strengthen you - yes, I help you - yes, I uphold you with my saving right hand!

  • Isaiah 35:4: Tell those who panic, "Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you."

  • Isaiah 43:1: Now, this is what the LORD says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: "Don't be afraid, for I will protect you. I call you by name, you are mine.

  • Romans 15:13: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Matthew 6:34: So then, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

  • John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.

  • Joshua 1:9: I repeat, be strong and brave! Don't be afraid and don't panic, for I, the LORD your God, am with you in all you do."

  • 1 John 4:18: There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears punishment has not been perfected in love.

  • 1 Peter 5:6-7: And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.

  • Psalm 34:4: I sought the LORD's help and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.

  • Deuteronomy 31:6: Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for the LORD your God is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you!"

  • 2 Timothy 1:7: For God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.

  • Philippians 4:6-7: Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

  • Exodus 14:14: The LORD will fight for you, and you can be still."

  • Psalm 56:3: When I am afraid, I trust in you.
