  • Jeremiah 10:10: The LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King. When he shows his anger the earth shakes. None of the nations can stand up to his fury.

  • Jeremiah 10:12: The LORD is the one who by his power made the earth. He is the one who by his wisdom established the world. And by his understanding he spread out the skies.

  • Psalm 139:7-10: Where can I go to escape your spirit? Where can I flee to escape your presence? If I were to ascend to heaven, you would be there. If I were to sprawl out in Sheol, there you would be. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be suddenly caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord.

  • Psalm 102:25-27: In earlier times you established the earth; the skies are your handiwork. They will perish, but you will endure. They will wear out like a garment; like clothes you will remove them and they will disappear. But you remain; your years do not come to an end.

  • Hebrews 11:6: Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

  • 1 John 5:14: And this is the confidence that we have before him: that whenever we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

  • John 4:23-24: But a time is coming - and now is here - when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such people to be his worshipers. God is spirit, and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."

  • Matthew 20:28: just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

  • Matthew 5:16: In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they can see your good deeds and give honor to your Father in heaven.
