Verses

  • Genesis 1:27: God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

  • Hebrews 11:6: Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

  • Romans 4:21: He was fully convinced that what God promised he was also able to do.

  • Romans 4:22: So indeed it was credited to Abraham as righteousness.

  • Hebrews 11:17: By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac. He had received the promises, yet he was ready to offer up his only son.

  • Hebrews 11:18: God had told him, "Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,"

  • Hebrews 11:19: and he reasoned that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense he received him back from there.

  • 2 Corinthians 10:12: For we would not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who recommend themselves. But when they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are without understanding.

  • 1 John 3:18: Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth.
