Verses

  • Exodus 24:12: The LORD said to Moses, "Come up to me to the mountain and remain there, and I will give you the stone tablets with the law and the commandments that I have written, so that you may teach them."

  • Deuteronomy 6:6: These words I am commanding you today must be kept in mind,

  • Deuteronomy 6:7: and you must teach them to your children and speak of them as you sit in your house, as you walk along the road, as you lie down, and as you get up.

  • Deuteronomy 6:8: You should tie them as a reminder on your forearm and fasten them as symbols on your forehead.

  • Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.

  • Exodus 34:27: The LORD said to Moses, "Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel."

  • Isaiah 30:8: Now go, write it down on a tablet in their presence, inscribe it on a scroll, so that it might be preserved for a future time as an enduring witness.

  • Proverbs 10:5: The one who gathers crops in the summer is a wise son, but the one who sleeps during the harvest is a son who brings shame to himself.

  • Isaiah 40:8: The grass dries up, the flowers wither, but the decree of our God is forever reliable."

  • Luke 21:33: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

  • John 17:17: Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth.

  • John 20:30: Now Jesus performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not recorded in this book.

  • Psalm 119:97: O how I love your law! All day long I meditate on it.

  • Psalm 119:140: Your word is absolutely pure, and your servant loves it!

  • Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.
