Verses

  • Romans 2:23: You who boast in the law dishonor God by transgressing the law!

  • Ephesians 6:2-3: "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely, "that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth."

  • Hebrews 10:16: "This is the covenant that I will establish with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws on their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds,"

  • James 1:25: But the one who peers into the perfect law of liberty and fixes his attention there, and does not become a forgetful listener but one who lives it out - he will be blessed in what he does.

  • James 2:11: For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." Now if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a violator of the law.

  • James 2:14: What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but does not have works? Can this kind of faith save him?

  • 1 John 2:3-4: Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments. The one who says "I have come to know God" and yet does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in such a person.

  • 1 John 3:22: and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing to him.

  • 2 John 1:6: (Now this is love: that we walk according to his commandments.) This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning; thus you should walk in it.

  • Revelation 22:14: Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have access to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.
