Description

This is especially arranged for those who struggle or once struggled with Lust. This is also meant for those whose desire is to witness to souls trapped within this very grievous sin.

Please note I once struggled with this sin too, so I do not write this out of inexperience or ignorance.

Verses

  • Exodus 20:14: "You shall not commit adultery.

  • Matthew 5:27-28: "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.' But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to desire her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

  • Jeremiah 17:9: The human mind is more deceitful than anything else. It is incurably bad. Who can understand it?

  • 1 John 2:16: because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.

  • Proverbs 6:25: Do not lust in your heart for her beauty, and do not let her captivate you with her alluring eyes;

  • Job 31:1: "I made a covenant with my eyes; how then could I entertain thoughts against a virgin?

  • 1 Corinthians 6:18: Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin a person commits is outside of the body" - but the immoral person sins against his own body.

  • 1 Corinthians 10:13: No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.

  • Matthew 15:19: For out of the heart come evil ideas, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

  • Ezekiel 36:26: I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh.

  • Deuteronomy 30:6: The LORD your God will also cleanse your heart and the hearts of your descendants so that you may love him with all your mind and being and so that you may live.
