Verses

  • Galatians 3:16: Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say, "and to the descendants," referring to many, but "and to your descendant," referring to one, who is Christ.

  • Luke 3:16: John answered them all, "I baptize you with water, but one more powerful than I am is coming - I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

  • Matthew 3:16: After Jesus was baptized, just as he was coming up out of the water, the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming on him.

  • John 3:16: For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

  • 1 John 3:16: We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.

  • Acts 3:16: And on the basis of faith in Jesus' name, his very name has made this man - whom you see and know - strong. The faith that is through Jesus has given him this complete health in the presence of you all.

  • 1 Timothy 3:16: And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

  • 1 Corinthians 3:16: Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?

  • Ephesians 3:16: I pray that according to the wealth of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person,

  • 2 Thessalonians 3:16: Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.

  • 1 Peter 3:16: Yet do it with courtesy and respect, keeping a good conscience, so that those who slander your good conduct in Christ may be put to shame when they accuse you.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

  • Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.
