THERE ARE QUITE A FEW VERSES, BUT THEY WILL HELP YOU IN YOUR JOURNEY TOWARD JESUS' RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Verses

  • Psalm 116:16: Yes, LORD! I am indeed your servant; I am your lowest slave. You saved me from death.

  • Proverbs 29:23: A person's pride will bring him low, but one who has a lowly spirit will gain honor.

  • Matthew 20:28: just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

  • Luke 17:10: So you too, when you have done everything you were commanded to do, should say, 'We are slaves undeserving of special praise; we have only done what was our duty.'"

  • Luke 22:26-27: Not so with you; instead the one who is greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is seated at the table, or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is seated at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

  • John 3:14-16: Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

  • Philippians 2:4-5: Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well. You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had,

  • Philippians 2:6-8: who though he existed in the form of God did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped, but emptied himself by taking on the form of a slave, by looking like other men, and by sharing in human nature. He humbled himself, by becoming obedient to the point of death - even death on a cross!

  • Hebrews 13:1-3: Brotherly love must continue. Do not neglect hospitality, because through it some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as though you were in prison with them, and those ill-treated as though you too felt their torment.
