Verses

  • Psalm 103:13-14: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on his faithful followers. For he knows what we are made of; he realizes we are made of clay.

  • Isaiah 44:22: I remove the guilt of your rebellious deeds as if they were a cloud, the guilt of your sins as if they were a cloud. Come back to me, for I protect you."

  • Isaiah 1:18-19: Come, let's consider your options," says the LORD.   • Isaiah 41:17: The oppressed and the poor look for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched from thirst. I, the LORD, will respond to their prayers; I, the God of Israel, will not abandon them.

  • Isaiah 44:2-3: This is what the LORD, the one who made you, says - the one who formed you in the womb and helps you: "Don't be afraid, my servant Jacob, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen! For I will pour water on the parched ground and cause streams to flow on the dry land. I will pour my spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your children.

  • Matthew 8:17: In this way what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet was fulfilled: "He took our weaknesses and carried our diseases."

  • Isaiah 53:5: He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed.
