Verses

  • Ezra 6:7: Leave the work on this temple of God alone. Let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews rebuild this temple of God in its proper place.

  • Ezra 10:12: All the assembly replied in a loud voice: "We will do just as you have said!

  • Nehemiah 8:8: They read from the book of God's law, explaining it and imparting insight. Thus the people gained understanding from what was read.

  • Esther 4:14: "Don't imagine that because you are part of the king's household you will be the one Jew who will escape. If you keep quiet at this time, liberation and protection for the Jews will appear from another source, while you and your father's household perish. It may very well be that you have achieved royal status for such a time as this!"

  • Zechariah 9:9: Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey - on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.
