Description

Approval, Appetite, Ambition

Verses

  • Galatians 1:10: Am I now trying to gain the approval of people, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a slave of Christ!

  • 1 Thessalonians 2:4: but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we declare it, not to please people but God, who examines our hearts.

  • Matthew 4:4: But he answered, "It is written, 'Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"

  • Matthew 6:30: And if this is how God clothes the wild grass, which is here today and tomorrow is tossed into the fire to heat the oven, won't he clothe you even more, you people of little faith?

  • Colossians 3:23-24: Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people, because you know that you will receive your inheritance from the Lord as the reward. Serve the Lord Christ.

  • Matthew 6:33: But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
