Verses

  • John 1:29: On the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

  • Matthew 20:28: just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

  • Hebrews 10:11: And every priest stands day after day serving and offering the same sacrifices again and again - sacrifices that can never take away sins.

  • Isaiah 53:5-6: He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed. All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.

  • John 11:25-26: Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live even if he dies, and the one who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

  • Hebrews 9:28: so also, after Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many, to those who eagerly await him he will appear a second time, not to bear sin but to bring salvation.

  • Galatians 5:2-4: Listen! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no benefit to you at all! And I testify again to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. You who are trying to be declared righteous by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!
