It's a wonderful feeling to get that first verse.

What was the first verse?

Well ... I started here in 2015. During the first few years I got some verses to a "fully learnt" status but then I reset everything and started again back in October 2019. So ... more recently the first verse was Romans 8:28, and that was early this month.

I don't recommend resetting, however. I regret it a bit now. Because I'd like so much to work on some other parts of the Bible. But now I'm determined to faithfully move along those verses which are part of my Review queue until someday when ... I can safely add a lot more :) It's gonna take years.

It was actually one of the Catechism questions which I thought would be helpful for me to learn so that I could maybe answer questions other people give me better when witnessing :)

Joosep, yeah... I've reset a few times... I keep switching what version I want to memorize scripture in and I keep leaving for a while and coming back and getting overwhelmed.... I need to stick with it! :D

yes ... consistency is a huge key ... I'm beginning to learn that, I hope :)
