Jappel 2022-11-21 19:25

Your welcome. God bless you as you go through your life.

DogLover 2022-11-21 17:29

I have been doing that and will continue. Thank you for the help.

Jappel 2022-11-21 01:54

Honestly, I think that she’s not sure what to do. One good thing to do is pray for her.

DogLover 2022-11-20 19:24

So about the bully thing… she will bully me and then when I am in a hard spot she will come and defend me. Why does she do that? Any thoughts? 🤔

Jappel 2022-11-20 13:44

I do want to say this. If there are those here who have been bullied and don’t quite agree or think that I’m giving good advice, please tell me. I’m just going off of what I’ve seen and heard

Jappel 2022-11-19 21:27

That is a good point. The want for attention or being “in” or accepted is something that people struggle with. Trust me, I struggle with that. That could be one reason why she is being mean.

Jappel 2022-11-19 21:24

I do know this. If you are being bullied, tell an adult. Your teacher, parent, or principal. Do t try to “tuff it out “. It isn’t good for you or the bully. And, this is hard I know, but show kindness to that bully. Don’t be weird, but try to be friendly to that person. People say to get back at them and show them who’s boss. No. That is not the way

DogLover 2022-11-19 21:07

So… I have a girl in my grade who is REALLY mean. But there is no family problem. So could it be an inside family problem? Or is she just being rude to get attention from her friends?

Jappel 2022-11-19 20:52

Well, that is kinda of hard for me to answer since I was homeschooled my whole life. Now, I could pin that on my siblings, but that wouldn’t be right.
I would say that it isn’t right. And that being a bully is a cowardly act. But if you look in the background of a bully, like the family/home life, you’ll usually find abuse, neglect, or no family affection. They don’t really know how respond, and they just act to people like they been treated. Deep down, they are starving for love and the feeling of belonging.
There. I have gave my opinion.

DogLover 2022-11-19 20:40

How does everyone feel about the topic of being bullied? I would like to hear what you think.

Carla_Bryant 2022-11-19 20:15

Her Majesty the Queen Elizabeth ll has died and is now with her Saviour, the one she loved and served.
We are forever grateful for her dedication and faithful commitment, as promised, to our country. Thankful too for her witness of her Saviour during the recent Christmas day speeches. We will miss her and her steady influence on our country.

I went to a private Christian school for grades 1-3, and have homeschooled since then.

Well said Onfire247!
Thanks for putting out your opinion.

AllieA 2022-06-17 14:07

I'm sure i will

onfire247 2022-06-16 17:27

Well the bullying disappeared instantly, which is what prompted my mom to pull me out of public school (this was pre-smartphone/internet times mind you). Flexibility in class times. More freedom for independent study. Not having to wait on others who weren't getting a subject. Time to catch up when I struggled with a topic. Freedom to visit places as a field trip when I wanted. Not having to listen to political drivel woven into the curriculum that assumes God does not exist. Better food. My social circle was mostly people from my church so the peer pressure was less and not as dangerous. I was also better prepared for college than probably 95% of the public school people I knew. Of course, I started out in public school so I noticed things like this more than I would had I not started out there. I hated public school. HATED it. I wouldn't wish it on anyone, especially now.

Right now I have a family across the street that has seven kids and are homeschooled. They are all polite and very smart. None of them deal with anxiety issues and their lives are mostly drama free except normal sibling stuff every family deals with. They place sports and instruments well. Two of them have gone on to college and are excelling there. They are a joy to be around. Once you get out into life on your own you'll see the difference in you as well I'm sure.

AllieA 2022-06-16 14:15

since you've see "both sides of the fence" what are some things that you value most from homeschool?

AllieA 2022-06-16 14:13

Wow onfire247, I've never heard it put that way. but I see what you mean.
