Still Luke. I started John, and also some Psalms, but was overwhelmed with how much there was to learn. I'm not even adding more Luke at the moment until I begin to do better on what I've already begun to learn. We can talk about it later.
Congratulations Robinshe! I only just noticed your Master level 3 badge. And when you've finished John, (or Romans, or whatever) start Luke, and when I've finished Luke (ha ha) I'll start John. I'm writing on John at the moment, and I'm getting to know the last few chapters quite well..
Thank you JDJDJD! Yes, of course I am being blessed. There is so much value in learning a whole book and hearing the whole message of Scripture, not just the parts that make you feel good. But including the parts that make you feel good! This website is such a blessing. It keeps me at it consistently every day.

Welcome! So glad to see you here. It's fun, and addictive, and so helpful. Why don't you join the group that Heather started, the Leaderboard Group for everyone and join the friendly competition with us--it's a wonderful group of people.
Happy New Year everyone, from Canada. We still have 3 more hours to go here. I don't post very often but I do follow you all. Thank you all for being such an inspiration and encouragement. I feel I know you all a little, and it's very nice to find out where some of you live.
Nearly finished chapter 10! I'm up to the Good Samaritan--an easy bit! The challenge will be to keep it up while we're away. Sometime I need a period of quiet when I can reflect on it all. Learning the whole gospel you get a point of view that doesn't come across when you read it in bits--the repetitions and the emphases are different. And there are verses that I'm sure were never there before. Like the one about the prophets longing to see the things that you see. I thought that was only in 1 Peter. And treading on scorpions. I thought that was only in the longer ending of Mark.
Getting there! It'll take me a while to catch up to JDJDJD though. I'm finding it very interesting and helpful to be learning a whole gospel straight through.

Thanks for your encouragement. I'm learning the whole Gospel of Luke. I find I'm really meditating on it. It's a wonderful blessing--I think my friends here will be sick of hearing me talking about it!
