You were spot on JDJDJD, I got the consistent learner badge 1 day later. I don't think it was that quick though, 9 months for 10 million points counting the award points? I started with a new verse a day like a vitamin, THEN I became Hungry, darn right HANGRY even!!! Maybe you have seen those silly "Snickers" candy bar advertisements? :) Regardless, I still can't satisfy my appetite...but since this is God's calling for my life, my hunger fits me well. I don't anticipate slowing down anytime soon. I still have roughly 30,150 verses to study.
Romans 15 as we speak, almost done with my 3-4 month journey through Romans. Before Romans was Ecclesiastes, and before Ecclesiastes were 3-4 months of learning random verses/psalms/proverbs throughout the Bible. I'm not sure what I will learn next, I'm thinking of some smaller epistles, but I should probably commit a gospel to my brain!

That is so amazingly quick. Well done. May God bless you richly with all you are learning. I see you are soon to get your next consistent learner badge too. Tomorrow maybe??😊👍

Great stuff :) Long may it continue. I know what you mean. I always want to learn more too. I had planned to stop adding new verses after I reached 2 years but so far I haven't.
Hey I saw your post on the Leaderboard wall about memverse and this site. Did you get the email from Luke too? I might be joining you sometime soon...maybe?
Best badge on the board!!! That's is a great and faithful commitment to the Word and to your Lord JDJDJD. I saw you have a level 9 Recruiter badge too!!! I imagine the Lord uses you in amazing ways other than on this website to get 50+ people to sign up. Cheers to your display of Love to the community. May the Lord continue to shine His love through you to bring Him Glory, and Bless you with Grace and Peace on the journey!!!
Congratulations! I wish it said which verses people have finished, especially at level 1 because I am curious to discover what the first verse people have memorized is. If I may ask, What was your first memorized verse Robinshe? And perhaps the other 9 afterward?
Thank you brothers and sisters. Happy New Year!!! I can only hope that this is the year Jesus returns. How amazing it would be to see every knee bow before Him!!! I do have to say though that He has brought me to my knees on several occasions already in my newness of life in walking with the Lord. How about you three?

Thank you and may Grace and Peace abound to you all on your journey, and may you always stand firm in His divine calling on your life, whatever it may be and however it may come. Prayers all around for many blessings on this little community of encouragement.

Thank you for that, Grace-Alone! Very cool to think that people I have never even actually met are praying for me. I also sometimes pray for all of you guys here. And with John fresh in memory, I know those prayers are being heard and honoured :-)
You bet they are! I finished Ecclesiastes and moved on to Romans, I'm in Chapter 4 right now and very thankful that I don't need to type circumcision and uncircumcision very much anymore! :) Ha-ha, all in all 7 straight months of learning new verses and I love it, as I am sure you do too.
Thanks, I keep thinking 600 verses is a lot, but then I remember how little of the Bible I have gone through in this program so far. Seeing as how there are 31,102 verses in the bible and I have started 602 of them so far, sooo, there are only 30,500 verses left to go. No problem!!! :)
Yeah Thanks Joosep, my brother in Christ at our church joined, his name is Ray, he is a super awesome Christ loving guy, so lets encourage him along the way!!! But he will probably encourage us more!!!

at the rate of one verse per day, if someone started today, you would have the whole Bible added and in your learning queue by January 17, 2101. :) I calculated that with Excel. Of course, that is also about 85 years from now, so ......

Thanks Graetzmi! Hey I just want you to know that after you, me, and Joosep talked about how we learned certain passages in chapters instead of entire chapters in one fell swoop, I change my learning style to learning the entire chapter instead. It does just make more sense rather than going back later on. Thanks. I would also add that it is also much easier to meditate on what the scripture is saying in its entirety.
Hey Jesse and Joosep, sorry for the delay in responding.
Jesse, that is exciting stuff when you realize how God is working in your life and when you know that He has called you to do something for Him. Being used by our Lord is always an amazing life changing experience!
I began my relationship with Christ when I was 35, only 3 1/2 years ago. Without going into massive details about the experience and the story, the ultimate ending is that He called me to be a Pastor. The interesting part of the story is that I doubted the calling, but many, many, many people encouraged me into this path, including friends, family, local and universal church family, and complete strangers that I had never met before in my life, this cross-section of people were believers and unbelievers alike. I was looking for someone, anyone, to tell me it was a bad idea so that I could say "No," but God only put positive people in my path so that I couldn't say No. (You referenced and want to talk about being like Jonah :), I was running away!) That encouraging and life changing process was about 1-1/2 years long and it caused me to eventually break down into a million pieces and fully submit to the Lord. This then led me on to the next path of attending Moody Bible Institute, of which I am currently attending (online), because of the great need to learn more about Jesus and how I can help further His Kingdom through His church.
My church brother "Grey" introduced me to this site and it has helped me tremendously to keep in God's word, because as a student, I am reading many different books other than the Bible. As you are now, I am still finding I love this site 6 months later and it has been a blessing, no doubts there! I would however love to see some theological discussions on here though, bu
I started by learning verses here and there throughout the Bible as you are (my first 3 months), but have since moved on to studying entire books thanks to some thought provoking comments by Graetzmi and Joosep.
Keep it up, stop running, and accept your calling Jesse!
