"O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant and I have done all these things at Your word. Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that You, O LORD, are God, and that You have turned their heart back again."

1 Kings 18:36-37

I am currently studying the life of Elijah and this prayer he offered on Mount Carmel before summoning God's holy fire is one of the most powerful examples of prayer I have heard. Simple and direct, offering God glory, declaring his allegiance with him, and asking for the turning of his people's hearts.

It's been a hot minute but I wanted to thank those who prayed for my friend Matt. God has moved powerfully in this last month. He has found a new job (a dream job really) and Matt said that he had never felt such a physical and spiritual outpour of love and support before. He returned to the fold after sharing and shedding his grievances and was humbled by the presence of God in those around him.

Thank you all for your prayers and PRAISE be to God, for He is good and faithful above all else.
