Luli2016, that is amazing! Awesome job! I only got up to 40 days. :D I'm trying to get through my massive review pile right now. I couldn't imagine. JDJDJD, keep it up! You can get there too. :)
I'm aware of the time zone difference. I've had several instances of me learning a new verse and the streak doesn't see that I learned anything that day. For example today I learned a verse around 0930 local, and the day doesn't reset until 1800 local. Even after learning the verse my streak is still at 0.
There is a bug somewhere that prevents my streak from being continued after learning a verse. I just learned a new verse, and it still says my streak is 0 days. This happens randomly and when it does I have to learn a second verse for the streak to work (and once I had to learn 3 verses...). Sometimes I can't learn more than one in a day...
Thanks for the verse set. I kind of stumbled on here and went a few days without learning a new verse and broke my streak. So I didn't finish John 15... I'm almost done, though, and since Psalm 16 is only 11 verses I should be able to finish both before the end of May. :)
Awesome! Good luck. :) Some of the upcoming months have really short chapters for this challenge so you'll have time to catch up. It's a really good chapter.
Ah, because it groups those verses together in the set. You will see that the set has 8 "verses" and some of those verses are actually multiple verses, so maybe they should be labeled passages instead? I'd be interested in seeing if you start learning Ephesians 2:9 separate from the verse set (as a stand alone verse) if the verse set would then recognize that? But technically it's right. Since you have learned v8 and not v9, you haven't started learning the full verse for that set, which is v8-9.
Trying to put all the pieces together. :D So, in https://learnscripture.net/verse-set/bible-101/?version=ESV you see it say "you've started learning 1 out of 8..." But, you're saying that it should say something else? Not sure what else it should say, but whatever that says shouldn't have much of an effect on your memorization experience on the site. Or am I missing another piece of the puzzle here? :D
That's rough, especially for someone so young! Stay in there, stay strong! Keep pursuing the Lord even in the midst of the depression. Psalm 23 can be a great comfort.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
May God comfort you in this time of darkness. May He remind you that He is always with you, even when you doubt.
