Thank you for those that have prayed, My mom is doing a lot better, and my co-worker is getting better with her PTSD. She still needs prayer, her name is Kendra if you would like to keep praying for her. Thank you guys. God Bless!
O say, can you see, by the dawn's early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thru the perilous fight, O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
O thus be it ever, when free men shall stand Between their loved homes and the war's desolation! Blest with vict'ry and peace, may the heav'n rescued land Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just; And this be our motto: "IN GOD IS OUR TRUST!" And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
I want to put a prayer request out there (actually two) I have a co-worker/friend that is having trouble with PTSD and health problems and my mom has a really bad sinus and upper respiratory infection. She is on meds and antibiotics and is feeling really down right now. Thank you.
I know Saintman does. You said that you are a PK. I am too!!! There is a group I started for Pastor's Kids. https://learnscripture.net/groups/pastor_kids/?from=Jappel It is small right now, but I am sure there are more PK's out there. My siblings and I have been homeschooled all our lives. The only "Public school" I plan on doing is College. :) Oh, where are my manners? Welcome!! LOL
One Real Man The ruler of an ancient kingdom wanted to disprove the statement that the men of his domain were ruled by their wives. He had all the males in his kingdom brought before him and warned that any man who did not tell the truth would be punished severely. Then he asked all the men who obeyed their wives direction and counsel to step to the left side of the hall. All the men did so except one little man who moved to the right. "It's good to see," said the King, "that we have one real man in the kingdom. Tell these chickenhearted dunces why you alone among them stand to the right side of the hall." "Your Majesty," came the reply in a squealing voice, "it is because before I left home my wife told me to stay out of crowds." The End (Author Unknown)
