I agree 100%, reading and memorizing mean nothing when we don't apply His wisdom in our hearts, minds, and life.
Great verse Exodus 23:29-30. The little by little is the reminder the Lord gives me of how He works in me. His is a purposeful work and removes things from my heart that don't belong while He is simultaneous pouring His love in as I practice drawing closer to Him. I'm not great at the applying yet being a baby Christian, but that's the hope of memorizing scripture, so that His wisdom will be what flows through me instead of mine. More of Him less of me is the hope.
100 thousand is good too :) It took me eight years to do 92 million. That's about 220 thousand points a week. But the important thing is, are we letting God speak to us through these verses? so really 92 million doesn't mean anything.
If by that you mean that the reason is to go slowly, and to truly meditate on the verses and absorb the meaning, and apply it to our lives, and listen to what God is teaching us about Himself and thereby draw closer to Him ... then I agree with you.
But I'm not a fan of the points system on this site. Honestly, I think my 92 million points are meaningless. What has meaning before the Lord is, what have I done with all of those verses which I have practiced and repeated?

yes, very well said. I agree. May the Lord bless your activity on this site that you may ever draw closer to Him in worship, devotion, and in obedience.
The points are a nice motivation to keep trying, because sometimes doing what we should do for the right reason is hard and there is a lot of resistance to it, but add a game to also make it fun, and suddenly that dopamine hit we get from the gamification really helps. We don’t do it for the game, but the game helps keep us going. :)
Yea I started three days ago I think so I haven't had a chance try all the tricks yet. I'll have to try those when I get some time. Right now I just do it during the in-between times.
Yea I still have a hard time remembering which verses are which so I'm gonna be hovering around these 19 that I'm right now. I think I know 3 with help.
