One of my favourite passages to learn. I’m excited to see that very soon you’ll have completed 18 months of learning a new verse every day! That’s quite an achievement. Stay blessed!
Take my instruction and not silver, And knowledge rather than choicest gold. For wisdom is better than jewels; And all desirable things cannot compare with her.
What I usually do is say the first phrase three times, then add the second phrase, say it three times, and add the two phrases or sentences, saying them three times together and so on until I come to the end of the verse. It is much easier for me to memorize them if I say them aloud. Of course, this does not work for everyone, but it is the easiest way I have found to memorize verses.

Thank you for sharing that, Wv. I also do something similar. Saying it out loud (or singing it out loud, as janet23 shared) is the key. Repeating also is important, because we easily forget (Psalm 103:14). There's something very special and powerful to declaring God's Word. Declaring it and believing it. I don't mean demanding -- because we must remain humble. I mean declaring His truth for all creation to hear :) We must remember that it is His Word, not ours. But as we repeat it and declare it, it becomes internalized.
YMMV but if you're learning from the ESV you might be able to find a particular verse on "The Verses Project". It's a collection of verses that are put to music verbatim from the ESV. May not be to everyone's taste and the quality varies but check it out. http://theversesproject.com/search?q=Hebrews
Absolutely! I am learning so much about David and his quiet time with God. It helps to teach me how to pray and meditate on God's Word just as he did. The reason I am starting so many Psalms is because I hope to memorize the entire book. Right now I am about half way.
