Thank you for sharing that; I was blessed and encouraged as I read it. As to editing passages later on by adding or deleting verses, I've also had difficulty with that in the past. Often, I just end up creating an entirely new passage. I guess if anyone has some good insights on how to deal with that, it would be nice to hear.

But thank you for sharing your thoughts about Ephesians 2 and may our Lord bless you with His presence in your life.

I mentioned a while ago that I've found remembering acronyms for the first 3-4 words of verses 17-19 is somewhat helpful. (Onfire247 has written extensively on using memory aids of course elsewhere on this site). So, I find this to be helpful. For the NASV 1995...

18 STAT -- So then as through
19 FATT -- For as through the

Yes, I too find this chapter tricky. Too many phrases which are almost but not quite the same, eg one man’s sin, one man’s trespass, one man’s disobedience…

Absolutely, I'm learning kjv, so will probably have to make my own mnemonics.

A good method for memorizing tricky parts is to start over when you make a mistake. So browse to the passage set (it helps to make a new one that is not public to avoid spamming the chat history) and click Learn. Start typing the first verse, and the first non-fat-finger mistake you make, finish the verse and then hit the back button. Click Learn again and repeat. Starting over will be painful and will start to make you angry, and that anger will reinforce the word pattern so you don't have to start over again in the future. Its frustrating to do this over and over, but it does work.

Another thing you can do is repeat the verse set every hour on the hour. Make all the mistakes you want, but repeat it every hour. Your mind will start to see the patterns in the verses because you are reviewing it in closer sequences. By the time you've done that eight times you'll have it down. The next day, repeat the process but do it every two hours. And so on for the week. By the time the week is over, you won't forget the pattern anymore.
