It's meaningful to me to see how you continue to move forward with your stated plans. It encourages me to keep doing the same with mine. I praise and thank God for that.
Fabulous accomplishment, joosep! ๐๐ฝ As an aside, when I visited Israel two years ago, I got a ring with โEzra 7:10โ inscribed in Hebrew. Itโs a wonderful verse.
Seeing that set appear on my newsfeed is like a time capsule. I was learning everything in ESV back then, but then when NASV was added, I started over using that version. And now I've only just recently started working on John 7.
Anyway, I pray God's blessings on you as you meditate on these verses!
For some reason it gave me Proverbs 10:12 as the next one. Not sure why, maybe because the Lord knew that I needed it LOL :) I'm slowly working on John 7 and very much looking forward to the day when I can work on John 8!
Hello Luli2016 :) Thank you for creating this set. I can tell you honestly, that already Proverbs 17:9 spoke to me quite specifically about a rather difficult situation which exists in my life at this moment. So thank you for your obedience to Him! Isaiah 55:11 (NASV) applies here:
So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
I appreciate your comments, mrsmoo. It's my desire and my prayer that I come to this website every morning with a pure motivation, to know Him better. I'm very far from perfect. My wife certainly knows that ;) . But I also feel so happy in His love, and it means a lot to me to hear from others who are also blessed by the purity and completeness of His love.
I like your method, TheMoviegoer, and I thank you for sharing that -- I'm sure it will be helpful in part or in whole to many people on this site, including me.
Having the smaller sets in combination with the all-encompassing cumulative chapter set is a very good idea, I think -- because of how then you can "at will" test yourself on whatever weak portions may crop up in the future ... without testing yourself on the entire chapter.
