Congratulations, FinalAsgard -- that is an excellent achievement. Regarding Luke, of course it's your decision and you know better than me what's best, but I'd offer this take on it: imagine how you would feel one year from now, after doing one verse per day, and then being able to say that you had begun nearly one third of Luke. In addition, one verse a day would possibly enable you to work on other parts of the Bible at the same time. You might even consider (if you have the time for this) three verses per day; one from a gospel, one from a Pauline letter, and one from the OT, perhaps the Psalms. Then you get a variety :)
Whatever you may decide, may the Lord bless your path as You walk with Him in consistency. And thank you for sharing your testimony and the video -- I'm sure it will motivate and inspire other people on this site to put even more effort into memorisation :)
praise the Lord! You're the only person so far on this website to reach that level of 3000 fully learned. May God be praised! And thank you for setting an example for the rest of us.
excellent analysis! My impression (can't prove this) but my impression is that there is not a "dead zone"; but rather that the progress % increases at very small increments, once it's proportional to such intervals as 8 months. (The proportion of how early you are reviewing the verse to the actual interval). If someone reviews after only one week when the interval is 8 months, then the proportional % increase is very small, perhaps from 98.2 to 98.4%, but it's rounded off for our visual benefit, and so we don't see it until the whole digit increases.
