This Psalm is rich in prophetic and eschatological meaning. Mind you, I'm not advocating any specific theological or eschatological position here; I'm simply providing some cross references so that those of us who are students of the Bible, like the Bereans, can examine them, study the context, and allow God the Holy Spirit to lead us to greater understanding. 118:10 and 18, compare Luke 21:20, Zechariah 14:1-3 118:20, compare Isaiah 2:2-4 118:22-23, compare Matthew 21:42, Acts 4:11, Luke 20:17, and more 118:26, compare Matthew 23:39 and Luke 13:35
I had just returned from a walk in a rather isolated area, and wanted to praise God for all of His creation which I had seen, and lo and behold, when I turned on my computer there was this Psalm! So I started learning it too.
I wish to offer thanks and praise to God for your improved health ... that of both of you. And I relate to what you are saying, "I'm enjoying my new account." I'm not using a new account, but I'm enjoying going in order through the New Testament and working on passages for usually 2-4 days, then moving to the next once the passage has a high enough score. Mostly, it is a wonderful thing to meditate on the Word of God and on God Himself and to let Him draw us near in love. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you, James said. There are many difficulties of a profound and tragic nature taking place in our current world, but God's Word is a sanctuary and a hiding place for us, and serves to cleanse our mind and to give us confidence and hope for the future.
Hi MadieGrace. I'm sorry to hear that, that you haven't gotten an answer. I'm afraid I don't know who I could point you to. I assume the website administrator is kind of letting the website run on its own these days. I noticed the same thing happened with Memverse several years ago. One thought, though, there are people here who have started using a new identity by signing up again using a different e-mail address. Of course then you'd have to leave behind whatever you've achieved with "MadieGrace". I hope that helps a little.
All of those are excellent verses. Thank you for making the set. To me personally, Psalm 27:5 "spoke" to me, or had a special personal meaning to me. Thank you for sharing.
When I said "he" I meant the website administrator. contact@learnscripture.net I'm writing this to the several people who have asked, "How can I change my username?"
There's a message on this thread if you scroll down from onfire247 where he suggested contacting the website administrator. I think he will answer your question.
