Thank you both for the comments and support. I have an old dog that wakes me up at all hours of the night because she has to go potty, so I figure, I'm up, I may as well make it fruitful and spend some time in God's Word. 🙂. I have been trying to change my phone habits. Instead of clicking on news or email when I have a few minutes here and there, I'm trying to get in the habit of clicking first on scripture and turning those moments into a chance to meditate on God's life changing Word instead. It has only been about a month so far, but it's been really enjoyable. All glory be to God!
I agree with Jane's (rvfc2's) comment. As long as we are online so often ... then let it be used as a tool for good and for godliness, in the meditation upon God's Word (and some even memorize for the purpose of recitation). In my own case, it's more meditation, repetition, consideration of what these verses mean and apply them to me day-by-day, and as many verses as possible) God has give each person her or his own purpose and end-game here :) Anyway, vadernader, may God richly bless your status as an "Addict" :)
