Nice!

Robinshe 2015-11-11 19:09

Good job!

Robinshe 2015-11-11 19:14

I blinked, and you zoomed past me! (No hard feelings, I was well prepared for this day... :-) ). But seriously, congratulations on the faithfulness you have demonstrated in learning a little every day over such a long time now. May the Lord bless you through the word he has spoken to you.

Great job!

JDJDJD 2015-11-12 00:27

Zooming is certainly the word! Well done for your commitment. I hope you get as much from learning scripture as I do. God bless :)

Thanks all, however, many of these points were gained because I hadn't learned my verses well enough! I do hope to have them memorised eventually. :)

5ptcalvinist 2015-11-12 00:43

Keep learning as unto the Lord.

JDJDJD 2015-11-12 00:43

I'm sure you're doing better than you think. I've had some verses on the go for nearly 3 years and just can't get them into my head at all! I've just revised one now from 3 years ago and still got only 84%! 😕

AnnetteCN 2015-11-12 01:02

Thanks again. And JDJDJD, 84% is not too bad though! But maybe it comes off your "memorised verses" and you have it up for learning more frequently again? Not sure how it all works.

joosep 2015-11-12 03:01

I'll add to the crowd my best wishes and prayers that God draw you close to Him.

AnnetteCN 2015-11-12 03:20

Thank you joosep :)

Annette, I would just like to clarify that at this link http://learnscripture.net/review-schedule/ it says "...the gaps will keep increasing, until the verse is considered fully learnt after about 1 year, at which point it is retired and not tested any more.". So once verses are fully learnt, there's no more testing; unless I suppose one wanted to reset them and start again the learning process :)

AnnetteCN 2015-11-12 04:43

Thanks for that joosep! I hadn't read that. Well, if I do eventually learn the whole Bible, or at least the whole NT, I might think about learning it all again. Just for the points. ;) But seriously, as JDJDJD indicated, there may be a need for further revision with certain verses.

PeterP 2015-11-12 07:55

Congratulations, Annette. You zoomed past me too!
And another point about fully learning verses: I have noticed that a completed verse does get retested, if it is part of a longer passage that you start. Then if you don't get it over 90% or so, it goes back into the cycle again. (Like JDJDJD, I have several verses from over 2 years ago that I never seem to get quite right!)

joosep 2015-11-12 09:18

Hi PeterP, thanks for that clarification! It's good to know what's ahead :)

AnnetteCN 2015-11-12 09:22

Thanks Peter. That's good. I'd prefer it to go back into the cycle if I don't know it that well, and lately I've only been adding passages rather than single verses. So, it seems Learn Scripture will work it all out for me! :) :)
