Amen to all that has been shared here. It gives me such a joy to be in your company, fellowshipping with all of you! I pray for the Holy Spirit to draw us closer to Him and give us fresh revelations from God's Word so that we get stronger in faith and in His might, to be our Lord's faithful servants and all of us to be one in Him. In Jesus's name, Amen.
It's encouraging to see you back. Though "fellowship" over the internet may lack the emotion or true feeling of in-person fellowship, there is still something real about it. So, I pray for you success in God's Word truly living in your heart more and more every day.
Keep praying for me too - I´m doing fine, but struggling to keep doing this every day. Just laziness on my part. I missed a day by mistake after over 100 days in a row, and I hate to go right back to the start again, and it bugs me that I even care how many days in a row I learn verses. So I´ve sometimes had some days now where I´ve just read a little in the Bible without necessarily doing it online (and some days where I just skipped altogether). But thanks for keeping me in your prayers, I do appreciate it. I also pray from time to time for all of you here. Take care :-)
Will do Robinshe. Don’t beat yourself up about being motivated by numbers, the Lord made us all to tick in different ways. Just keep plodding. Then suddenly it won’t be plodding anymore. You’ll be flying again. But regardless, the bigger purpose of becoming Christlike and getting to know Christ is being fulfilled everyday but by bit. Thanks for your prayers. I need them too. Lacking in motivation at times but also concentrating more on reading this particular season.
It was good for me to read your comments here. I think I know how you feel, Robinshe. I've always had a kind of interest in and an enjoyment of numbers. And then often I've had a conflict in myself, am I here because of the numbers, or because I want to know God's Word better, or to know Him better? Thank you to each of you for sharing and I will be praying for each of you, too.
Amen to these comments. Bible memory and Bible reading are not an end in themselves. It’s all about deepening our relationship with God. I too can get caught up in the numbers or the pursuit of a badge - especially a year ago, when I got irritated with LearnScripture because it said I had missed a day. But I had to remind myself of what is important, and I appreciate the discipline of using this app, because it places God’s word in my heart, ready for him to bring to mind at any time or any situation where it is helpful.
Thank you all for sharing this. I used this site regularly for a year or two but stopped about 18months ago. ( I missed a day when I'd almost got a badge for learning a verse a day for 9montgs or a year & I can't remember which or why it was so important at the time!). I've spent the time since using more time to read the bible, getting the big picture. As Robinshe says there are seasons. Now I'm trying to balance things out, looking a learning a couple of verses a week instead of 7. Its a joy to be back immersing myself in the word and knowing others are doing the same. Bless you all!

There is a great value to true Christian fellowship. When it is centered upon the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word, we have joy in fellowshipping with one another.
