God is good. He has given us each other, He has given us His Holy Word, He has given us salvation through Jesus Christ. May we each one walk before Him in reverence to His holiness. Meditating on and studying His word brings joy to those who receive it as children, in simple faith.
Thank you PeterP and joosep for your suggestions on the Book of Acts. Itโs difficult to choose as there are many beautiful passages in the book of Acts, but for the moment I am going to choose chapter 3 for two reasons. The first 8 verses are a well-known Sunday School song and I love Peterโs boldness from verse 12 onwards.
I think I will definitely go for Romans 8. From the book of Hebrews I have only selected chapter 6:10-20, and the entire chapter 8 &11. Just finished the book of James.
Thank you Janet, wouldnโt have done it without your encouragement and excellent example! Now I have to make sure I make it to the next badge โบ๏ธ! Seriously though, I am benefiting from meditating and learning these passages.
Long term goal? I would love to memorise at least one chapter from each book of bible, have one already from each of the gospels, any suggestions for Acts or Romans.
Thank you joosep and PeterP and Robinshe! Didnโt think I would be able to get this far and I do thank you all for your good example and encouragement!

Romans 8 is a good one. I love your idea. I like trying to learn a whole book. You get the drift of the teaching much better. (Although at my rate itโs slow in happening. ) Iโve got several started but none completed. I started Hebrews way back when you (Luli) and I were going to do the Emmaus Bible Study Course on Hebrews. Iโve still only got 6 chapters learnt. I loved Hebrews 11. Still one of my favourites.

For Acts, I agree with Joosep. Acts 2 is full of good stuff with the arrival of the Holy Spirit and Peterโs preaching. But itโs a long chapter, so I split it into 2 verse sets for learning, otherwise you need quite a long time slot each time you review it.
Good advice, PeterP. I also love Acts 16, Paul in Philippi, the Philippian jailer -- "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" (ESV) He was saved, he and all his household.

Thank you so much Janet! Not sure how I got so many verses started as I have tried to add one new verse a day (at least lately) with a few exceptions when it's either a very short verse or the verse added is easier to learn with the following one such as James 5: 13&14. Hoping I will soon master some of these verses. ๐

I must say that it is great joy to learn, meditate and feed on the Living Word and enjoy the fellowship and friendship of others who I wouldn't have met otherwise. Thank you for the repeated invitation Janet, glad you didn't give up on me and thank you for your encouragement joosep!
