I'm looking forward to working on 1 Peter someday. And also, 2 Peter 1 is a really good chapter. And I agree with janet23 about learning things in sequence :)

Hello jcosimi :) No special reason; if I remember correctly I left the group a few years ago, perhaps because I didn't want to be in a lot of groups, and then didn't want to trouble anyone by asking to be let back in :) The groups are a nice feature, but for me personally, they sometimes distract me from the Bible memorization

so between my 2 users Goodnews and janet23. I have done Genesis 1-3, Psalms up to 38 , Proverbs up to 12 . all Song of Solomon, Matthew the sermon on the mount. Chapters 5-7, Mark up to chapter 11 . John up to chapter 10, Have done Galatians Ephesians Philippians and colossian and have just finished Revelation . as well as heaps of random chapters and verses

have you been through John before joosep ? I am up to chapter 10 :)

I agree joosep. Especially if God has an upfront ministry ahead of us. Our in private relationship with God is the most important thing. our heart motives are open before him.

mikejody Learning the Scripture has increased my trust and confidence in Almighty God. I have far less anxiety.

Everyone is welcome to share here what God is teaching you. I have been on this site over 4 years now. I have 2 different usernames and I often learn the same verses on both so that I really become familiar with them.
