I forgot how it begins, the man in chains possessed of great strength, cutting himself, living in tombs, crying and screaming at night .... and Jesus puts him into his right mind. Truly, a great action film.
Mark 5 ought to be made into a film -- lots of action happening in a short time, seems to me :) crowds pressing in on Jesus, demons being cast out, swine rampaging over a cliff and crashing into the sea, one solitary woman singled out with a dramatic healing, and the coup de grace, the finale, a twelve year old girl raised from the dead! and Jesus giving the very practical instructions to the parents, "Hey, she's hungry, feed her ok?"
Thanks Goodnews. I've created a lot of passage sets in my time here, trying to find the best method for memorisation ... sometimes I've gone with shorter passages, sometimes longer. I definitely remember my verses better when I'm in the flow of the whole passage.

Yes, thank you for all that you share. I have also used some of your sets - and appreciate _so much_ your suggestion about using individual verse sets of 4 verses to practice those thorny passages that just don't seem to stick. :)
To Wv, I agree with you, that each verses holds a meaning for each new day. It's a timeless book. To janet23, this is my favorite "at the moment": Proverbs 10:12 Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions. (NASB)
each time I see a new chapter of Proverbs on my news feed, it makes me feel glad to see that you are continuing with that project :) of going through the entirety of Proverbs
I just tried it again, and it works for me. Using a Windows 10 computer. You have to hover over the actual box in order to type something. Hover over it with your cursor, then start typing a username.
click on the name of the group, and then on the right hand side, "Edit this group". Then you'll see a box at the bottom designated "invited users". You'll need then to type the names of the new users into the box.
