Amen to that! Me too. Memorization, meditation, time in God's word every day, and time in prayer with him. What better pursuit could we possibly desire to spend our time on? Even though we get tempted to spend time on other things (I'm looking at you, Valheim) they are cheap imitations of joy, compared to the joy of spending time with God and in His Word.
Welcome to the site! May you grow deeper in your relationship with God because of this time you spend meditating on his word. What verse did you start with?
No problem! Wow, it's been almost 1 year exactly since this group was last used. :D I tried setting up a memorization group at Focus before they started up the community groups
Nice! Romans is an awesome book. Good luck! I need to freshen up on Romans 12. I haven't practiced that in too long, and now I need more points so I don't get passed up...
I love geeking out on stats and how calculations on websites are done. :D Thanks for all that info. It’s good to know. But, what I’m gathering here, of using my method of going hard core for 3 months and then skipping a year, is NOT the best way to reach mastery? :D
I have a notebook that I use to track the chapters that I've memorized and a schedule to put them on, but it isn't digital enough. :D I'm thinking of making a site to digitize my review schedule.
