JDJDJD - Thanks for the typing tip! I had never noticed that option before. It´s a little unforgiving if you go too fast, but it´s definitely a more efficient way of entering verses.
Agreed! Well done Annette, hope you are learning lots of new things even in the middle of verses you thought were familiar from before. And same to you, by the way, joosep, I know how much time and discipline it takes to stay at the level you´re at, and you´ve shown remarkable consistency! (I on the other hand took a flying leap and enjoyed it while it lasted but am now in free fall down to a level that is more manageable for me to maintain! :-) )
congratulations! Just about reached a million points and a hundred verses! Why not come and join us on the "leaderboard group for everyone" for some company? Keep at it!
John 12:6 Judas was a thief and in charge of the money-bags and used to dip into them... interesting that he was ever given that position of responsibility, and (as far as we know) was never fired from it. What does that say about how God chooses people and gives us responsibility even when he knows we often fail? hmm...
Congratulations! And by the way, even if you´re not interested in staying up into the wee hours of the night to earn yourn official "addict" badge, anyone who averages over 250 verses a day is definitely an addict by any definition! Keep at it!
Almost through chapter 11. And I´ve already done everything after 19, so I just have 7 chapters left. Must say that Martha inspires me. Not at all the "busy one as opposed to the spiritual one" like you often hear about in sermons about Mary and Martha. The way in which she meets Jesus after her brother dies, with an attitude of complete trust and faith in Christ´s omnipotence, despite his apparent lack of action up to that point, is an example to follow.
