Hi and congratulations on your first 100,000! Feel free to come and join us on the "Leaderboard Group for Everyone" Group if you´d like some company along the way. Hope you´re enjoying this place and learning lots!
Excellent! I feel that Acts is a book where there are some very familiar bits (Pentecost, Stephen, Paul´s conversion, Paul & Silas in prison...) but all the in-between bits are much less familiar, and I think there´s a lot I don´t know or have forgotten. So here we go... and when I have questions, I´ll be asking you! What was the main point of your church sermon today?

The key word in the sermon this morning was 'wait' (v4). It is not for us to know times or seasons, but we should wait for the Holy Spirit and trust God.
Seriously? 100 verses finished off from one day to the next? Drives me nuts that I still keep making mistakes in passages that I should by now know perfectly. Well done!
Hi Hadassah! Welcome to LearnScripture, looks like you´re off to a good start. Feel free to join us in the "Leaderboard Group for Everyone" if you´d like some company as you study...
Morning guys! May the Lord bless you and your families this week. May you be encouraged and strengthened, and may he give you wisdom and patience. God is with us!
Ouch, that´s really tough. Always hard not to take it personally regardless of the situation. If it´s any encouragement, my brother was laid off last year and after 6 months is now at a new job that he likes, despite a tough job market, and he had half a year with much more time to be with his family. Will pray that God gives you comfort, peace and guidance as you figure out alternative options. Take care and stay with us here!
Morning, guys! Here we all are, different ages, from around the world, all with different family and financial and health situations - I just wanted to let you know that I´m thinking of you all and praying that God would bless you and give you strength and peace and energy and joy, wherever you happen to be today. Have a great day :-)
To those of you who have joined recently, here´s a little hint that makes typing verses go faster: if you want you can click on your profile, and under "preferences" you can choose to just type the first letter of each word, rather than the whole word. Really speeds things up :-)
At first when you said Xicama that it´s going to take 85 years to learn the whole Bible (unless I speed up significantly!), it sounded rather daunting, an impossible goal that´s far beyond what any of us can ever hope to achieve. And this morning I woke up and realised that this is great news - for the rest of my entire life I can every day continue to learn and discover new things verse by verse in the Bible! It will never run dry! :-)
