16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost. --Revelation 22:16-17
COMPARE:
Ho! Every one who thirsts, come to the waters; And you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk Without money and without cost. --Isaiah 55:1
COMPARE:
13 Jesus answered and said to her, Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life. --John 4:13-14
Yes, coming to the end of the NT. I've got a daily plan worked out on a spreadsheet -- on other days I work on other parts of the Bible, the OT prophets, Law and History, Wisdom Literature. (I don't work on those other parts of the Bible using my identity here as "joosep").
It will take years and years to complete this project .... well no matter ... I want to stay firmly in His Word until the moment He comes.
Maybe I should explain what joosep means. First of all, I live in Estonia, and "Joosep" is Estonian for Joseph. I like both Bible characters named Joseph very much :) And so that's why I chose that username when I started on this site.

For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. 18 No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father. --John 10:17-18
Praise the Lord! It is so good to be in His Word every day, isn't it MrsSpooner? This 30 million shows you're spending a lot of time in His Word! May you and others in your life be blessed by His Word and may we all know Him in our hearts and serve Him with sincerity.
Hello janet23! We rejoice with you that you've reached this wonderful goal. We rejoice that Jesus came to this world, that He died for us so that we might live, that He is Lord and that He is good and loves us, and we rejoice that you meditate on and memorize these truths in His Word every day.
14 And He found in the temple those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers seated at their tables. 15 And He made a scourge of cords, and drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables; 16 and to those who were selling the doves He said, “Take these things away; stop making My Father’s house a place of business.” John 2
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.” 14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.” --James 4:13-15
8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.
9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith. --Galatians 6:9-10
