Hmm, yes, I also started with Memverse! I still log in there occasionally, trying to keep things current but I don't add many verses. I would agree, that Learnscripture.net is a much more effective method. But, to each their own :)

Hello Annette. It seems our experiences have been similar. I started out with individual verses, then scattered passages here and there, but now I'm finding it best to go in order through the books I mentioned. God bless you.

1 Corinthians is one that I hope to memorize someday ... I already have in my learning cycle 2 Corinthians 5. At the moment I'm working on Daniel, John, Romans, Acts and Revelation. But I will have to add fewer verses so that I can consolidate better my knowledge of the verses I've already added. It's all blessing me so much. God is good.

I just wanted to add that just a few seconds ago I was practicing Romans 1:20, which applies nicely to what you just described on your walk :) We can see the hand and the personality of God in what He has made.

That sounds wonderful! My wife and I also had a walk today, and it was very nice, but unfortunately inside the city. Some of it was in some greener areas .... Head õhtut Sulle! (literally, "a good evening to you")

Thank you! A beautiful fall day today, went for a long walk in the woods this morning with the sun coming through the pine trees, some great views of the fjord, lots of heather and wild blueberries growing on the rocks... :-)

In Colossians 1:23 it talks about the "hope of the gospel... which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven...". Both verses remind us that even those who have never heard of Jesus can still see something of God and who he is in other ways. Head õhtut Sulle ka! :-)
